Kenya Campbell is a bonafide native of Indianapolis, a Marriage and Family Therapist Resident, Certified Life Coach, and Ordained Minister. For more than twenty-six years, Kenya has had the privilege of serving many individuals and families in multiple capacities, as a Probation Officer, Social Worker, and Youth Pastor.
In her current role as a resident therapist, Kenya is the founder and CEO of Momentum Counseling and Coaching Co. She enjoys developing strategies to help her clients uncover the root cause of why they are stuck, so they can build momentum one step at a time towards their ultimate goals.
Through her educational pursuits she has earned degrees in Legal Administration and more recently a Master of Arts Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
Also known as the Momentum Motivator, Kenya has developed a dynamic approach to therapy, coaching and consulting. She engages her love for teaching to deliver interactive, customized workshops and trainings, which focus on eliminating stagnation, and building momentum.
In addition to her love for the next generation, Kenya has a passion for seeing women fulfill their Divine call and live out their potential in the earth. She hosts a quarterly empowerment session called the “Gathering of the Gifts” where women come together to pray, get pampered, enjoy fellowship, and receive an impartation from the word of God through ministerial gifts.
For Kenya, maintaining a healthy work/life balance is important. She and her husband Ollie have been married for twenty-seven years and are the proud parents of two adult children: Kayla (a Labor & Delivery Nurse) and MacKenzie (a Psychology major and recent graduate of Bradley University). Together they continue to serve within their local congregation, while navigating the rigors of business ownership.
As empty nesters they plan to do more traveling in the coming months, but their home will remain the central place for hosting family get togethers.
